This small family-owned and run country hotel in North Suffolk was once a rural public house; today, it has been sympathetically renovated and still retains its historic charm and character.
Carefully refurbished and sensitively restored, the Auberge offers charming accommodation with modern comforts and facilities alongside beautifully preserved original features. All 4 of the rooms provide an excellent level of comfort, with exposed wooden beams and rich, stylish furniture.
The restaurant still features the original beamed partitions and walls. Once a country pub providing simple food and drink for locals, the restaurant now offers superb food and great wines in cosy, traditional surroundings.
Located midway between Ipswich and Norwich, the Auberge is a great base from which to visit and explore Cambridge, Newmarket, the Suffolk and Norfolk coasts and all of East Anglia. The nearby market town of Diss is just 4 miles (6.5 km) away.

The hotels charming restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday and has a warm, intimate atmosphere and features the buildings original beamed partitions and walls. There is also a bar area for diners set to one side.
The restaurants menu is influenced by the best European cuisine including fine English fare. The comprehensive wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal. Vegetarian dishes and seafood are available at all times and the restaurant is happy to cater for those with special dietary requirements, given a little advanced notice. |
